Since going full time with blogging/the pursuit of my dreams three weeks ago, I've been asking myself A LOT of questions... tough questions, questions I've avoided since launching this blog last year, maybe even questions I've avoided for most of my adult life.
Who are you? What do you do? Why does it matter?
These were three questions I answered for Amanda Genther before my brand consult. You guys, it took me 2 hours to answer them. BUT instead of getting discouraged, giving up, and eating Oreo Klondike bars (which I still have... I should go get one), it made me realize how ridiculously important these questions are.
I think the questions that are hard to answer are the questions I absolutely must answer - to grow, to improve, to be happy, to move my blog forward and declare myself an art blog master (said like Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction).
It's easy to go about my daily business, tweeting and writing and making cool stuff in Photoshop... but that alone won't take me where I want to go. It's time to think BIG - long-term, major goal kind of stuff. It's time to really think about those difficult questions. I felt okay about the answers I had for Amanda, but, guys, I want to be crazy excited about my answers. I'm ready to sit down and do the work...!
