My end of summer cocktail series continues with a variation on one of my very favorite drinks: the greyhound. It's normally made by mixing grapefruit juice and vodka, but I've kicked it up a notch with a little soda. Zevia grapefruit soda. Which means it's a little sweeter and a little sparkly-er. Aww yeah.
I think the reason I love this drink so much is because it's super easy to make and you can't go wrong with these flavors. It's the perfect combination of tangy and sweet...
Ingredients (for one drink)
+ 4 oz. Grapefruit Citrus Zevia + 2 oz. red grapefruit juice + 1 oz. vodka + ice + grapefruit slice to garnish
01 fill your glass of choice with lots of ice (this drink is best served icy cold).
02 pour in 4 ounces of Grapefruit Citrus Zevia, 2 ounces of grapefruit juice, and 1 ounce of vodka.
03 give it a stir and add a slice of grapefruit to garnish (if you're feelin' fancy).
There are 40 days of summer left! Here's to celebrating every last one... cheers, friends!
