The Art Drank // 5

This art print by C O C O I is too freaking cute. I can't decide if I should buy it or make my own little owl friend out of a corkscrew and a fork... no no, I'll probably buy it. There's always a fork shortage in my kitchen.

I may or may not have had slurpee cocktails recently at a friend's birthday party... Ok I did. If you don't like to get your main cocktail ingredients from 7-11, then perhaps this drink is more your speed. Recipe found on With Style & Grace.

Riesling Strawberry Slushy

Ingredients

2 cups hulled strawberries 1 bottle [750ml] dry Riesling 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice 2 tablespoons sugar

Directions

Reserve 1 cup of the Riesling – cover and place in the fridge to chill.

In a food processor, puree strawberries with the remaining wine, lime juice and sugar. Pour the mixture into ice cube trays and freeze until solid. When you’re ready to serve [or drink], puree the ice cubes with the remaining wine in your blender.

Art is More Than Painting

Painting, drawing, and sculpture are like the 3 loud people at the party. Fun and entertaining, but total attention whores. What about the other art at the party, hanging out by the snacks with quiet dignity. This post is for them. Get down wit' yo' bad self, unconventional artwork.
