You guys. Big news to share today: IT'S BUSINESS TIME!

What does that mean, you ask? Do you need business socks? Well lemme tell you:

Tiffany, Michelle, and I are SO thrilled to announce we're now accepting applications for It's Business Time, our 6-month coaching, branding, and design program dedicated to helping you claim your biz idea and create the platform to authentically offer it to the world.

If you've been thinking about starting a biz or you have a business but it's just not quite working (yep I've totally been there, guys), It's Business Time will give you the clarity, structure, and accountability to make it happen. No more messing around.

After spending 6 months with us, you’ll walk away with everything you'll need - a mission statement, offerings, a custom logo, and a website - to bring your business to life and hit the ground running.

I am crazy excited to be a part of this and help others start an online business. I mean, I was there! I am there! All three of us walk the online biz walk. Three years ago I didn't even think owning my own business and creating my own success was possible. But here I am. It's humbling and exhilarating and I cannot wait to help others do the same. Ah!

The program starts March 30th. There are only 10 spots available. Our acceptances will be on a rolling basis, so get your application in sooner rather than later. There's no obligation to apply. So why not, eh?

This is the year for BIG things. I can feel it. And I can't wait.

P.S. if you have any questions at all, leave a comment below or hit reply. Woot! Let's do this thang!

erin_podcast GUYS. This week was my birthday AND I'm on a podcast! Talk about a great way to start the year. Especially because it's a podcast with one of my very favorite people in the entire world, Tiffany Han.

I was SO honored and butterflies-in-my-stomach excited when Tiffany asked me to be on Raise Your Hand, Say Yes. I've listened to every episode and get so much inspiration from each woman's story. Seriously, guys, don't listen before bed. The inspiration will keep you awake. I'm speaking from experience.

I hope I contributed some inspiration to the pot! Or at least some food for thought on leaving a "real" job to start a business and what a wild, amazing adventure that can be.

Take a listen here.

Thank you, Tiffany!! You are my business soulmate; the Flo Rida to my dance party.

And P.S. I'm SO THRILLED to be a part of the the Raise your Hand, Say Yes book club! We’re starting with The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks. Get your copy and give it a read, k? The episode will air on March 4th. Woot!

xoxo, erin

why-I-started-artsocial I was recently asked, Why did you start your own business? Is it worth all the time and effort?

Short answer: Because I had to. I couldn't NOT do this. And HELL YES it's worth it, no question.

Long answer: Starting my own business almost wasn't even a choice. Something inside me had to do it. I knew I needed to give myself the freedom to try doing my own thing. The freedom to create and collab with other like-minded people. The freedom to quit my day job and get "the fear" (Friends, anyone?), so I could figure out what the heck I wanted. The freedom to make mistakes, work through my blocks, unlearn, relearn, and just go for it.

I'll admit it, it would've been soo much easier to stick with the day job. But I would've been miserable. When I decided to start doing graphic design, I felt like I was finally listening to my gut. And that feels really great.

Sure, it's not all great. Running a business is exciting and terrifying at the same time. You can never say for sure how everything will pan out. How well your program will sell, how many people will sign up for your e-course, if anyone will read your posts...

But you know what? It doesn’t matter. Because you have to do this. It's your calling. It’s part of you and even when it’s hard, it’s the best thing in the world.

Do you run your own business? Why did you start your biz? Isn't it SO worth it??

xoxo, erin
