This art print by C O C O I is too freaking cute. I can't decide if I should buy it or make my own little owl friend out of a corkscrew and a fork... no no, I'll probably buy it. There's always a fork shortage in my kitchen.
I may or may not have had slurpee cocktails recently at a friend's birthday party... Ok I did. If you don't like to get your main cocktail ingredients from 7-11, then perhaps this drink is more your speed. Recipe found on With Style & Grace.
Riesling Strawberry Slushy
2 cups hulled strawberries 1 bottle [750ml] dry Riesling 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice 2 tablespoons sugar
Reserve 1 cup of the Riesling – cover and place in the fridge to chill.
In a food processor, puree strawberries with the remaining wine, lime juice and sugar. Pour the mixture into ice cube trays and freeze until solid. When you’re ready to serve [or drink], puree the ice cubes with the remaining wine in your blender.
